Sound familiar?

Registration day is chaos.

  • The popular weeks are gone within minutes, and whoever refreshed fastest got them.
  • Parents on night shifts or without good signal feel the system was never fair to them.
  • The “is there still a chance for week 3?” emails pile up until the summer is over.
  • A family cancels in June and you don’t know who asked for that week first.
How it works

From opening-day rush to calm summer.

  1. 01

    One page per camp week

Dates, ages, daily times and what to bring, plus the questions you need answered before you plan groups.
  2. 02

    Choose how places are ordered

First come, first served, or a lottery: a random order fixed at sign-up and shown when you run the draw.
  3. 03

    Parents see where they stand

Everyone gets an email with a status page for their child’s place. It updates on its own.
  4. 04

    Offer spots as families cancel

Tap “Offer 2 spots”. The next families get 24, 48 or 72 hours to accept or pass. If an offer expires, you offer the spot to the next family.
Made for camps

What a camp waitlist needs.

  • A lottery for opening day

When too many families apply at once, a draw takes speed out of the equation. The order is set at sign-up, so nobody can game it.

  • Your questions on sign-up

Child’s age, preferred week, swimming ability, anything you need to know about allergies, as buttons, dropdowns or free text.

  • A waitlist for every week

Each week, age group or location gets its own page, link and QR code. Run as many as you like.

  • Filter by week or age

See every answer in one list, filter by status or answer, and export to CSV for your group planning.

  • Updates to all parents

New week added, times changed: one email to everyone waiting, each with their own status link. Replies go to you.

  • English or German

Page, status page and emails in English or German, set per waitlist.

Questions

What camp organisers ask us.

Should I use first come, first served or a lottery?

If registration opens at a set time and demand is far above your places, a lottery is usually fairer: everyone who signs up before you run the draw has the same chance. If interest trickles in, first come, first served is simple and clear.

Can a family sign up two children, or for more than one week?

Make one waitlist per week, so families sign up for each week they want. One email address joins a waitlist once, so for siblings add a question like “How many children?” and their ages, and you see it all in the list.

Can I ask about allergies or medication?

You can add a free-text question for anything you need to know before camp. Keep it to what you really need, and handle detailed health information the way you already do.

Does Waitlisted take registrations and payments?

No. It runs the waitlist: who’s next, who gets a freed-up spot, and the emails in between. Once a family accepts, they register and pay the way they always do with you.

Do parents need an account?

No. They enter their email and your questions, and get a link to their status page. No app, no password.

How much does it cost?

Building your pages is free. Going live costs €9.99 a month or €99 a year, with unlimited waitlists and people and 5,000 announcement emails a month included (sign-up and spot emails always included). Parents never pay.

This summer, let the list do the talking.
