Sound familiar?

Every music school knows the piano list.

  • Piano and guitar are booked out for months, while the cello teacher still has free hours.
  • Each teacher keeps their own list, and some names are on three of them.
  • Parents email every term to ask whether their child has moved up.
  • A student stops after the summer, and finding the next one takes weeks of calls.
How it works

From fully booked teacher to the next student, without the staff-room list.

  1. 01

    Make a page per instrument

Piano, guitar, violin, drums: age range, lesson length, and your questions, like previous lessons or preferred days.
  2. 02

Share one link or QR code

On your website, in the school newsletter, or printed for the concert programme.
  3. 03

    Families see their place

Everyone gets a status page with their child’s place in line for that instrument, so the emails stop.
  4. 04

    Offer a free slot

When a teacher has an hour free, tap “Offer 1 spot”. The next family gets an email and 72 hours to accept or pass. No answer? Offer it on with one tap.
Made for music schools

What a lesson waitlist needs.

  • One list per instrument

Separate waitlists for piano, guitar, violin or band classes, each with its own page and link.

  • Your questions

Child’s age, previous lessons, own instrument at home, preferred afternoons: see every answer in one list.

  • Filter by answer

A teacher has Tuesday afternoons free? Filter the list by preferred day and see who fits.

  • Offers that wait for an answer

Give families 24, 48 or 72 hours to accept a slot, so nobody misses it during a busy week.

  • Message one list or all

New teacher, extra group lessons, the summer concert: email everyone waiting for one instrument or all of them.

  • German or English

Each waitlist’s page, status page and emails in German or English, whichever your families read.

Questions

What music schools ask us.

Set up your lesson waitlist for free →

We have long waits for piano but not for other instruments. Does that work?

Yes. Make one waitlist per instrument, or even per teacher. Each has its own link and order, so a long piano list doesn’t affect the drums.

Can I see which students fit a teacher’s free time?

Ask for preferred days or times when families sign up. In the list you can filter by that answer and offer the slot to the right family.

Do parents need an account or an app?

No. Parents fill in your page with an email address and answer your questions, nothing more. Their status page is just a link, with no app to install and no password.

What happens when a lesson slot frees up?

Tap “Offer 1 spot”. The next family gets an email with a timed offer of 24, 48 or 72 hours. If they don’t answer in time, the offer expires and you offer it to the next family with one tap.

Does it work for a private teacher, not only a school?

Yes. A single piano teacher with a waiting list works the same way as a school with a whole team of teachers: one account, as many waitlists as you need.

How much does it cost?

Setting up and building your pages is free. Going live costs €9.99 a month or €99 a year, with unlimited waitlists and 5,000 announcement emails a month included (sign-up and spot emails always included). Families never pay.
