How does a QR code waitlist work?
Every waitlist has its own link and a matching QR code. Print the code anywhere; scanning it opens your waitlist page, where people join with their email and your questions.
Do people need an app to scan it?
No. The normal phone camera reads the code and opens the page in the browser. Joining needs no account and no password.
Where should I put the QR code?
Wherever people ask about places: the front desk, the shop window, the changing rooms, a flyer, a table card at an event. One waitlist can have as many printed copies as you like.
What should the poster say?
Keep it short: what people are waiting for, one line like “Scan to join the waitlist”, and the code printed big enough to scan from a step away. The details live on the page, so the poster doesn’t need them.
